The Quotation
Manager system has been designed for companies who carry out one
off jobs for clients and who need to quote for jobs before commencing
work.
When a quotation
is created, the customer information is stored with the quotation
and remains available for further alterations if and when required.
When your customer
accepts the quote, you can produce a job-card for the work required
and pass this to your workshop. During this time you may still make
further additions to the original quotation specs so that the information
is kept up to date ready for producing an invoice.
At the time
the quotation is put through as accepted, a progress sheet is created
on the system which can be used for recording information for referencing
internally. All of these notes have the benefit of being date and
time stamped so that you can easily keep a full record of telephone
calls between you and your customer, correspondence sent or received
and other sundry information.
When the job
is completed, the information on the job-card is transferred to
an invoice, to which you can add further sundry items if necessary.
When the invoice is ready it can be printed and the values are added
to the customer's account.
Other options
on the system will allow you to build a database of regularly used
entries so that typing can be reduced to a minimum. A sundry sales
option will allow you to produce an invoice without first producing
a quotation but the amount of the invoice cannot be charged to a
specific client if you use this option.
Reports available
include statements for client invoicing, monthly and quarterly sales
figures and numerous list and labeling options.
